Dr Sheel Mehta MBBS, iBSc, MRCP, FRCR is Headland Care Consulting’s founder and Clinical Director and Oncology Lead.

Dr Mehta specialises in the treatment of uro-oncological cancers, including prostate and bladder cancer, working across systemic therapies, image-guided radiotherapy, and brachytherapy.

She studied medicine at University College London, including a period of study at Harvard Medical School, alongside completing specialist training and work at The Royal Marsden, the UK’s foremost cancer hospital. She was appointed a substantive NHS Consultant at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in 2021.​

At Headland Care Consulting, Dr Mehta provides clinical leadership and strategic oversight, ensuring that care frameworks are grounded in current evidence, real-world patient pathways, and professional best practice, strengthening engagement with clinicians and families.​
